Who we are

Seatwright (seatwright.com) is operated by Mining Wells LLC, 17595 Harvard Ave, Irvine, CA 92614. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means Mining Wells LLC. For any question about your data, email support@seatwright.com.

Your guest list

Seatwrightworks from the guest list you paste or upload: names, and optionally a table and a meal choice for each person. We store that so we can build your escort cards, place cards, table signs, and seating chart, and keep them working at your project’s permanent link. You do not need an account.

That list is other people’s names, so it is personal data you are entrusting to us. We use it only to make your seating stationery. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train models. You are responsible for having a reason to hold your guests’ details, which for a private event you host is normal. When you no longer need a project, you can have it deleted (see below).

Payments

Payments run through Stripe. When you pay to remove the watermark, you enter your card details on Stripe’s hosted checkout, not on our site. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe sends back a confirmation and the email you used so we can mark your project paid and send a receipt. Stripe’s handling of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Analytics and cookies

To see which pages help people, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These tools set their own cookies and collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, rough location from your IP address, device type, and how you move through the site. We use this in aggregate to improve Seatwright. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and most browsers let you block or clear cookies. Our own site sets no tracking cookies beyond these tools and what Stripe needs for checkout.

How long we keep things

We keep your project so its permanent link keeps working. If you want a project and its guest list deleted, email support@seatwright.com with the link and we will remove it. We keep basic payment records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@seatwright.com and we will respond. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you these rights, and we do not sell your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

Seatwright is a tool for event hosts and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
